There are many local attractions within walking and driving distance of Powdermill Run.  Here at the camp we have a catch and release fishing pond;  Powdermill Run creek is a refreshing place to play on a hot summer day for the young and young at heart.  We have great hiking and walking trails over the 75 acres for bird watching and dog walking (view the Bald Eagles that soar the skies in French Creek Valley).

We are within walking distance of French Creek access, so you can kayak, canoe or fish the creek.  Bike some of the local trails including, but not limited to: Lake Wilhelm Trails, Franklin's Justice and Allegheny Trails, Oil Creek State Park, Ernest Trail and many others.

Many local golf courses, lakes, state and county parks all within a short drive (15 minutes) from Powdermill Run Camp.

Take a day trip to Allegheny National Forest or Cook Forest State Park.

​

Hear the elk bugle at Bugle Point Elk Ranch in nearby Stoneboro, PA.

​

Visit Wilhelm Wineries, Conneaut Cellars Winery and Lago Winery among others in our area.

For the Cub Scout and Boy Scout enthusiast, Custaloga Town is just 5 minutes away!

Just 3 miles north is friendly Cochranton, PA.  Here you can find local restaurants, Kofvino (a local theater and cafe), library, community park and events.
